Seal Team VI honors Operation Shoebox New Jersey
July 22, 2011
U.S. Navy Seal Team VI, whose members killed Al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden May 1 in a daring nighttime raid on the terrorist leader's Pakistan compound, has paid tribute to Operation Shoebox New Jersey for its ongoing efforts to send personal care packages to US military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. These specially-embroidered caps, showing the Seal Team VI insignia and embroidered with Operation Shoebox New Jersey, were received recently in the mail from overseas. The package did not include a return address.
