The dust storms have been kicking up quite often but we continue to push forward in hopes that one day soon we will all get to go home to our loved ones. VOLUNTEER OPS & Shopping Sprees

One of the most rewarding – and critical – volunteer opportunities occur Saturdays and Sundays 9:30 am-3:30 p.m. throughout the year. That’s when OPSHBX NJ volunteers can be found in front of supermarkets where we hand out a short list of items needed as shoppers enter the store and collect the donated items as they exit.
It’s simple, it’s fun and you’re helping to ensure our troops continue to receive care packages from home.

Helping to collect supplies is a great service project; thousands of community service hours have been earned by Scouts, CCD students, high school honor society students and college students. It’s ideal for families, clubs and organizations. Work all or part of the day.

In addition to our Shopping Sprees, we also welcome volunteers for packing events, TD Ballpark/Somerset Patriot Baseball games, the annual Hillsborough Rotary Fair, and many other events. Click here for our full calendar or call (908) 698-0333 to sign up!
