2/6/2008 Dear Mr. Hirsch, I wanted to thank everyone involved in Operation Shoebox New Jersey. There is nothing more thrilling than getting something unexpectedly thru the mail. I was quite surprised by the number of packages I received and the items that were donated. Everything from the Girl Scouts cookies (which everyone especially loves), the chips, chapstick, gum, toothpaste, popcorn, breakfast bars and even pens (something especially needed by us Air Force folks). I gave packages out to my fellow airmen in the Special Handling Section. My comrades in the office as well thank you all for your support.
