Mr. Hirsch, I just wanted to send a quick note to say thanks to you and the people at Operation Shoebox for making our tour a little bit more bearable. The 101st Airborne Division is heading home now and I wanted to say thank you for the care packages you sent to us. My soldiers used everything, even the boxes themselves! We are being replaced here in Tikrit by the 25th Infantry Division out of Hawaii. They're probably used to miles of beach, but I'm sure they could use a care package or two.
