E-Mail from PFC Edric L Boneahm

Dear Mr Hirsh, Hello, my name is PFC (Private First Class) Boneham, and I am a soldier serving in Camp Victory (Baghdad) Iraq, with HSC 18th Airborne Corps (which is part of the Multinational Corps of Iraq, to make things more confusing). We run escort/convoy missions into Baghdad daily, so often times we miss meals. A few days ago, I thought we might miss a meal (or too) so I went scrounging around for food (at the Company area). To my surprise, I found a huge box full of food! This mysterious box (which at that moment had given me much content) was littered with assorted lickies and chewies which I happy stuffed into my pockets for latter consumption. Suddenly, (to my surprise) a small letter appeared at the bottom of the pile. It was folded yellow construction paper with two psychedelic snowmen as a cover design. The first thought that popped into my mind was, "Europeans must have sent this", they love Avaunt Gard abstract expressionism. But then I read the inside message which stated boldly: "Thank you for procting us, love Jacqueline Ayers".
