E-Mail from Capt. Dominic Wade

This letter is just a small token of my appreciation for all of your support and prayers for me and all of the other service membes serving in the Middle East and throughout the world. Together we strive to make the world a better place and keep our loved ones and beloved country free and safe. Your generosity of time, commitment and caring goes beyond words and truly made the deployment worthwhile and helped us complete our mission, with all of the letters, handmade cards, cookies, treats, and sundry items received from so many individuals and organizations such as church groups, businesses, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and I cannot forget to mention adult living groups and schools alike. The numerous packages, cards and letters were plentiful and truly were a "Combat Multiplier" in reducing fatigue and increasing morale. Continuing to know that our fellow American citizens are supporting our efforts and are looking out for our well being is part of the Honor in serving. I hope that this letter finds all that have devoted time, resources, and efforts as a HUGE thank you from the soldiers serving in the Baghdad area. Fortunately, for my unit and our families our tour is coming to a close and we should be home by summer. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as well as all of our replacements, as well as the Iraqi and Afghan people who yearn for the peace we have at home, in which we hope to bring to these foreign lands. It has been my honor and pleasure to serve with the many sons and daughters of the United States of America - our great resource. Thank you all for your support and dedication. Always grateful and respectfully yours, Capt. Dominic Wade U.S. Army 4/18 Military Police Det. Baghdad, Iraq
