Dear Rod, Operation Shoebox New Jersey Volunteers and especially Frelinghuysen Middle School students, parents and teachers- It is difficult to express in words my humble feeling of being appreciated after receiving your generous care packages today. I have shared them with the Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen and Marines in our office (even an Australian or two), and have delivered the rest to patients and workers at the 86th Combat Support Hospital, located just down the street. I will think of you whenever I'm feeling a bit lonely or homesick, and your generosity and thoughtfulness will make the time I spend away from home go much faster. Stay safe.
