April 20, 2007 Dear Operation Shoebox. We received the boxes of toothpaste, toothbrushes, dried fruit, cookies, and other assorted items in Balad, Iraq. These items were passed out to the soldiers, sailors and airmen of the armed forces. You gave the military personnel here a big smile, as some do not receive boxes from home. From all of us here in Iraq thank you for sending these items. They will be used and the military personnel will know that people back home have them in their hearts. God Bless You.
