Thank you very much for all the hard work you and others have put in to provide members of my team and me with care packages through Operation Shoebox. Being located at a more remote Forward Operating Base in Maysan Province, we do not have access to most amenities or personal hygiene type items typically available at other locations in Iraq. So I want you to know that we are extremely appreciative of all you have done and wanted to thank you for your efforts. Also, since quite a few packages have been sent to us, we have shared with other personnel here and the care packages you send have been unofficially been voted as the best ones.
