Dec. 23, 2008 Dear Operation Shoebox New Jersey, I would like to thank you for your support of our unit in Afghanistan. As a police mentor team, we are a very small unit with few resources. Help from home means a lot to us. It signals your support as well as provides us with things we need. There are very few of us who actually serve in the military today; less than one percent of us are in any military service when compared to the rest of the population.
