9/17/2007 OPSHBX Volunteers/Contributors- Thank you for the three boxes full of care packages. They will be put to good use. I delivered one box of packages to the Tillman USO located at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan (see attached photos). Almost all soldiers deploying to Afghanistan pass through Bagram, so this USO is always in need of supplies. I plan on sending the other two boxes of packages out to some of our more remote units in Afghanistan. As an aside, I am a reservist deployed to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division I grew up in Metuchen, NJ. My wife and I lived in Madison for several years and our kids were born at Morristown Memorial Hospital. So, the fact that these packages come from NJ makes it all the more special. Again, thank you to the many volunteers and contributors who make these care packages possible. They are needed and appreciated. CPT Ted Lorenz
